Fugro Chance Enters Offshore Trawl Survey Market

Offshore survey leader Fugro Chance Inc. has recently entered the "trawl survey" market. Trawling with
specialized equipment is one method approved by the MMS to insure that offshore worksites are clear of debris once oil and gas
operations have ceased at the site. While conducting hundreds of successful trawl surveys, this is the first time that Fugro Chance
has taken the lead as prime contractor. The project was conducted in the Gulf of Mexico utilizing Fugro’s STARFIX® positioning
system and additional proprietary navigation tools. Fugro Chance has offered precision surveying services since 1957 and is part
of the international Fugro group of companies with 250 offices in 60 countries.
