Fugro Chance recognized nationally for mapmaking

Since mapmaking is an important part of the business of surveying, the cartographers of offshore survey company Fugro Chance Inc. (Chance) are honored to receive a national recognition.

Chance has recently been recognized by the National Society of Professional Surveyors through the ACSM (American Congress on Surveying and Mapping). Chance was honored for placing in the "Color Presentation-Plans & Maps Category of the 2003 ACSM/NSPS Map/Plat Design Competition" and will receive the award at the ACSM Annual Conference in Phoenix, Arizona in April.

Chance’s award-winning map represents a base map of the seafloor near a platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
