Project Surveyor

Duties:
Perform marine construction, as-built and bathymetric survey projects aboard U.S. and foreign flagged vessels.
- Set up, interface, test, operate and maintain surface and subsurface positioning systems.
- Operate commercial and proprietary PC-based navigation software.
- Mobilize and demobilize various vessels for offshore projects.
- Interact with clients as a member of the offshore survey team.
- Drive vehicles to and from job assignments.
Requirements:
BS in Survey Engineering or related degree in Earth Sciences and 5 years experience in marine surveying using surface and acoustic positioning systems, and geophysical sensors; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of pipe-lay, pre-lay, as-built and construction surveys would be advantageous.
- Ability to travel and work extensively internationally primarily in West Africa.
- Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable motor vehicle record and authorization to work in the U.S.
